This is Bullet’s video–a vigorous eater who shook his head and spilled grain while eating.  He is a great example of a horse who needs the added stability of the throat latch to keep from shaking his Bucket Head off.  Now, Bullet doesn’t spill any of his feed and his owner can be assured he’s getting all his rations and supplements without wasting any!

Here is a video of a 3 year old Quarter Horse colt who’s living at the Nebraska Humane Society’s horse rescue facility– the Star Equine Rehabilitation Program.  He came from a neglect case and his trainer, Michelle Julian, who is the director of the program quotes, “He was as wild as the dickens!”  Here she demonstrates techniques she used when introducing a Bucket Head to a horse who is generally anxious, nervous or very uncertain of new experiences.
